any elvis project dvd's re releases has to go through E.P.E it's a fact that they need their ok, involving negotiations etc, even ftd have to have their approval when a project is going to be released. I'm sure this year there will be a host of new product [same stuff differn't packaging], i look forward to the unofficial releases, especially the ON TOUR DVD SET.
No they don't...! They do it for a good business relationship, but at the end of the day Warner decide what to do with what Warner own. You can't expect smart people to believe that it's EPE who are hesitating on releasing an EOT deluxe edition.
Go and send Todd Morgan at EPE an email. He'll soon clear up any misconceptions you have regarding what does and doesen't HAVE to go through them.

so let me get this right you are saying that warner and others don't need the permission of the estate to release material, please don't be *****ic, if they decided to release the material with foul language in it's entirety there would be problems , considering priscilla is a board member of MGM , i'm sure she could get this stuff released , every project that involves ELVIS PRESLEY, has to get the ok from E.P.E.
Go and email Todd Morgan. You'll soon realise your mistake. No point in getting heated over something like this. Youre wrong in your assumption and it's no big deal.
Giving a silly example like foul language really is naive.
Warner just don't think it will make money.

The Sun Never Sets On A Legend...
It seems like the misconception about EPE being involved with the release of EOT lingers. They have no say over the footage filmed for EOT or TTWII.They do not own it at all.It belongs to the studio. The only unreleased footage they have is the CBS special which has already been released unofficially on the market. As 03 stated it has not been released because it wont make money.Restoring the footage along with the other costs involved would make it a risky venture.
Jak
David, its basically all the leftover footage that wasn't included on TTWII or the SE. The outtakes is just raw footage, has lots of beeping sounds from the cameras, etc...
If the 30th anniversary isn't a good enough time to release this stuff, then i don't know when is.![]()

weren't all the elvis on tour live shows filmed?
Hampton Roads
Richmond
Greensboro
Jacksonville
San antonio
then that means they could release 5 full shows.
Shows were not filmed in their entirety. Some were, some were not.
