If that is the cover you are referring to David, I looked and it is so blurry its really hard to tell who that is. Maybe someone here has some info on it.

No, it's Elvis. Look at his jacket, it's one he wore in a lot of pictures plus he had a habit of sitting like that when listening to what he was recording.

I think it's Scotty Moore going from the position of the people around Elvis on this and other photos from the session. Scotty's hairline may be the real clue?
