I saw Elvis live in concert three times. 1974, 1976 & 1977 at the Philadelphia Spectrum. It can only be described as a religous event. When Elvis took the stage you were truely mesmerized. You sat on the edge of your seat and never blinked an eye in fear of missing something. When the opening bars of Can't Help Fallin In Love began, you knew the end was near. You felt saddened and exausted at the same time. You knew when Elvis walked off that stage, he wasn't coming back for an encore. Now its time to leave the venue and while walking to your car, your smile returns and your energy level rises. You know you had just witnessed and had been in the presence of the King, and he had just performed especially for you.
