Trelane P, Perhaps you would be wise to get in touch with Jim Browder, his knowledge of "Elvis country" from Tupelo to Nashville is extraordinary. Jim took us to places and introduced us to people all over the region.

I was speaking to him last night on the telephone about his newly published book "Memphis...JB Style". He understands the 30th Anniversary in 2007 will a major event tourist wise.

I feel it will be an exceptional year in which to showcase Elvis and his music by all Elvis fans world-wide. Any ideas?

What a fantastic post, although I dont agree with advertising, this an exception.

Trelane P, I forgot to mention Jim actually lives in Memphis - Tupelo area, and runs his tours all year. I guess his level of expertise would be second to none. He made sure we actually met George Klein, Richard Davis (RIP) the manager of Sun Records, Bernard Lansky, the guys who sold Elvis his motorbikes, Memphis TV news crew, Memphis Business Journal reporter, and many more.
He knows just about everyone related to Elvis in one way or another in Memphis and Tupelo.

I can't wait to read his new book about Memphis. The guy is a mine of info!

Diamond - I'm office bound mostly (Web Manager) but the tours are all accompanied by knowledgeable tour directors. I'd love to go on the Aug 07 Memphis tour and will try my best to go. It's one of our best selling tours worldwide at the moment. I'm proud that our man can even hit the no1 spot when it comes to holidays around the world.

I visited Graceland back in Aug 87. I?d love to go back as it?s changed a lot since then from what I can see.
