Note: this is a wonderful release, despite the fact that Elvis' singing voice is missing on this cd.
This cd came together with a wonderful book, which contained many rare pictures, stories, fifties magazine clippings and interviews with both Scotty Moore and D.J. Fontana.
The songs featured on this release are performed by a rock and roll band called: "Number Nine". They've recorded those songs because those were rumoured to have been recorded by Elvis on the road in those early days.
Okay, they're not Elvis, but the sound is very authentic and like the book say: "it's not hard to imagine Elvis doing these tracks".
A very nice release!
This picture shows the front cover of the book.
