I would have liked to have seen him have a chance to work with some other artists . I do think had he lived he'd have started veering towards Gospel music more and more, he already was doing several numbers in his shows at the end.
In the Late 1980s and 1990s gospel or "christian Rock" was starting to do big business around the US, and he would have fit into that genre if he wanted to.
I would love to hear how Elvis would do some of Chris Isaaks songs. I also think he might have done some more blues. It's so hard to gauge in some ways, he was heading towards rock with a country feel with songs like Moody Blue and Way Down.
I would have liked to hear Tom Jones and Elvis sing together.
I also think out of female singers that Elvis and k d lang voices would have blended well.
I would have loved to hear him sing a duet with Lisa Marie, just because it would have been great to see!
As far as what type of songs Elvis would have sang, it would have been great to hear what he would have came out with...It really wouldn't matter to me, I would have loved anything he sings, as long as he was still here!

If Elvis woudn?t have died in 77 some people would have had to look for decent jobs to make a living instead of what they are living off now and would be forgotten long time ago. He would be a living legend and there wouldn?t be a chance for those who are so inerested in the world remembering him for his faults and sins. He worked really hard to achieve his place in music history but sadly enough there are people that forget easily what friendship and love means for $$$$$.
He would have toured internationaly and play a good part in some good film ;)

Not to compare them, (no comparison) but I think that Kenny Rogers covered some of the material that would have made it's way to Elvis. Can you imagine Elvis' take on Lady, twenty years ago, you decorated my life, or the Gambler? These were songs written for Kenny Rogers. As we know the ultimate goal of any and every sonwriter was to get Elvis to cover it. Look back and see how many careers began by Elvis singing particular songs...i.e, Kentucky Rain (Eddie Rabbit) In the Ghetto (Mac Davis) and that doesn't even scratch the surface...
