here`s the part 2 of from the fan club mag from june 1973 with all news from the April 1973 tour with report from members who saw many shows. enjoy it...
In Seatle, Wash, Elvis gave two shows. It was in the same area that he filmed IT HAPPENED AT THE WORLD`S FAIR in 1963. He mentioned this after the first song in his first show as follows; ``I remember making a film here around ten years ago. The title was; IT HAPPENED AT THE WORLD`S FAIR I guess...I was young...really young.``

During the afternonn show, Colonel Parker was walking in the front of the stage. Then he stopped in front of us (the club executive), and then went back to his seat. Some minutes later Elvis was taking his scarf off to give to some girl in the audience, the Colonel stood up and took the scarf, walked up to us and gave the scarf to member Gary Munson`s daughter. All the family went crazy...

Also when Elvis was singing LOVE ME TENDER , a girl presented him with a beautiful big teddy bear with the name ELVIS written on a red ribbon. Elvis took it and acted like he was singing the song to the teddy bear, holding it tenderly in his arms. After the end of the song, he showed the crowd the present he had received, then launched into TEDDY BER/DON`T BE CRUEL. He sang this especially for the girl who had given him the teddy bear.

Each time Elvis presented Cathy Westmoreland, while introducing his musicians, he always tried to tickle her. Also some times when she had a particulary difficult high note, he would try and make her laugh..she`s cool, she never lost control of her self.

LAKE TAHOE NEWS; Elvis did a long medley of ``LONG TALL SALLY/WHOLE LOTTA SHAKIN` GOING ON/JAILHOUSE ROCK/YOUR MAMA DON`T DANCE/FLIP, FLOP AND FLY``. He also introduced I`M LEAVIN` several times by saying that it was LISA-MARIE`s favourite song. Opening night, Geln Campbell, Raquel Welch, his father and step-mother were in the audience.
******************
The Sahara Tahoe Hotel cancelled the three last days of his engagement due to a pneumonia.

*****************
The two Anaheim, California shows and the two Fresno, California shows were all the same (see preceeding list).
*****************
In San Diego, California, Elvis added I`M LEAVIN` . He sang this song between JOHNNY B. GOOD and HOUND DOG.
*****************
In Spokane (Washington), Elvis` afternoon show was the same as the San Diego one.
*****************
The best show of the tour was the one he gave in Portland (Oregon). The show was 1 hour and 5 minutes long and Elvis added three additional songs; LITTLE SISTER/GET BACK, HELP ME MAKE IT THROUGH THE NIGHT, LONG TALL SALLY/WHOLE LOTTA SHAKIN` GOING ON. He also did I`M LEAVIN`, but he excluded the following ones; HOW GREAT THOU ART and JOHNNY B. GOOD.
*****************
In Phoenix (Arizona), he did the same show as the one presented on TV.
*****************
The two Seatle shows were the best after the Portland one. In the first show he sang 25 songs, including TEDDY BEAR/DON`T BE CRUEL, this was the only time during the tour that he sang this song.
*****************
The Seatle evening show was the last one the club`s officials and members saw, but oh boy, what a show ! Elvis did 26 songs, using the same basic pattern as in Portland.
*****************
Elvis sang LONG TALL SALLY/WHOLE LOTTA SHAKIN` GOING ON only during the final part of his tour in Portland (Oregon), and Seatle (Wash), and for the first show of the tour in Phoenix (Arizona). California fans weren`t lucky.
*****************
At the first show in Anaheim, April 23, LISA MARIE was in the audience. She was wearing a long dress, white socks and white sandals. If our phots are all right, we`ll publish a photo of her arriving at the ANAHEIM CONVENTION CENTER in next month`s issue.
*****************
Three women accompanied LISA MARIE. These women were also present the next day for the second show in Anaheim and they also attended the two shows in Fresno. One of the women was LINDA THOMPSON.
*****************
Colonel Parker was seen only at the first Anaheim concert and the two Seatle shows. Usually he attends every show by Elvis. We understand he was sick and noticed in Seatle he had some trouble walking and was using a cane.
*****************
Jerry Scheff, Elvis bass player has left the group, not because of any friction with Elvis or the band, but because he has just bought an island near Vancouver in Canada. Jerry Scheff is Canadian. He wants to go there for a rest and to make a decision about his future career, because he was tired of always traveling and bieng away from his wife and children. Now he only plays in recording sessions from time to time in Vancouver.
******************
The name of Elvis`s new bass playewr is Enrica Gordy and he`s a real nice guy. He is very popular with the rest of the band, in fact it was Ronni Tutt who introduced him to Elvis.
******************
Elvis wore his ALOHA FROM HAWAII jumpsuit in both Anaheim shows. Elvis did not wear his cape when arriving on stage, he only puts it on at the end of each show when saluting the audience.
******************
Usually Elvis only plays his guitar for the first number. During the April tour, he sang two songs with it. CC RIDER and I GOT A WOMAN and then returned the guitar to Charlie Hodge.
******************
In Anaheim, Elvis used his own Mercedes limousine. He left ANAHEIM CONVENTION CENTER by the main entrance door. Police cars and four police motorcycles escorted him out.
