I was wondering which live show you guys and girls despereately want to be released in good quality next january by the FTD label?
For me it has to be a on tour show, not a Vegas one. Maybe something from november 1971, or else december 1976!

I would love to hear the show from Las Vegas, August 19, 1974. This show can be found at Jordans Elvis World titled "From Sunset Boulavard, To Paradise Road". The line up is as follows...
The other part of this album contains Rehearsals at RCA Studios on August 16, 1974. The concert set list is VERY cool and was very different. I'd love to hear this cleaned up! It's obviously a soundboard recording, but isn't too bad.
- Big Boss Man
- Proud Mary
- Down In The Alley
- Good Time Charlie's Got The Blues
- Never Been To Spain
- It's Midnight
- If You Talk In Your Sleep
- I'm Leaving
- Let Me Be There
- Softly, As I Leave You
- If You Love Me, Let Me Know
- Love Me Tender
- Polk Salad Annie
- Band Intros
- Promised Land
- Intro of Telly Savalas
- My Baby Left Me
- Bridge Over Troubled Water
- Fever
- Hound Dog
- Can't Help Falling In Love
I would like to hear the opening show of his march 1976 tour. I know that this show exists in good quality and it contains some very good performances like UNTIL IT'S TIME FOR YOU TO GO, TRYING TO GET TO YOU or the very first live performance of HURT.
Well, I guess I would love to hear something from that 'different' Las Vegas show of 1974 - that would be a good idea.
For some reason I've begun to distrust Ernst from FTD because he wants to release the millionth re-release of Loving You instead of new material!
I would also love to hear something from February 1977. I know these shows weren't bad at all and they are present in good quality.
FTD should consider releasing the Memphis show from 1976 as well, because E was in good spirits and rocking the joint!
One of the problems with FTD, unfotunately is that they try and release shows that are not already on the bootleg market for the most part. We know FTD can release them in better quality but they fear not enough will buy the same show again.........im sorry, just how many greatest hits compliations have RCA,BMG and now Sony BMG released of Elvis!?! And they wonder if his fans will buy something already available!
For me it must be
1) The Ashville shows 1975
2) New years eve 1976
3) new years eve pontiac 1975
Las Vegas Jan/Feb 1972
Las Vegas Jan/Feb 1974
Las Vegas August 1975
Las Vegas December 1976
Lake Tahoe August 1971
Lake Tahoe 1974
Lake Tahoe 1976
Las Vegas Jan 1973 (opening night show)
Las Vegas August 1973 (opening night show)
Uniondale NY 1975 (either show)
Asheville NC 1975 (any of these shows)
Atlanta GA Dec 1976
Indianapolis 1977
That's right Big Boss(y) Opening Night august 1973 would be a great one:clap:Quote:

A performance from his jan/feb 1974 vegas engagement would be nice, too. If there are soundboard recordings from august 1971, they would make an interisting release, too.
