My favourite is 'Follow That Dream'...it's Elvis at his comic best.
I watched 'Change of Habit' on the week-end, and I still can't believe they had Elvis singing a song like 'Have A Happy' in 1969......
Well, Carolyn, you've obviously never let your address be Sunshine Place. :sun:
Follow That Dream is definitely among my favorites. It's funny--my appreciation used to mainly be for the dramatic movies like King Creole and Wild In The Country, but I've also really come to appreciate the goofy ones too like Tickle Me, which makes me feel like I'm watching a Scooby Doo episode.
To name a few others:
Fun In Acapulco
Viva Las Vegas (I've watched it too much though)
Clambake
Live A Little, Love A Little
Change of Habit
Viva Las Vegas
Blue Hawaii
Easy Come Easy Go
Charro
Stay Away Joe
From those few I've seen: TTWII, Change of habit, Viva Las Vegas, Loving you
Mine as to be "Change Of Habit" with "Jailhouse Rock" a close second:cool:

I quoted Diane list because I'm curious as to her reasons, she has The Trouble with Girls on the list. I've always counted that one as my least favorite Elvis film. I've never seen it listed amung the best. I'm always interested in other Elvis fans opinions on this topic (films) , so Diane if you're still out there what did you see in that film that you connected with as a fan? No wrong or bad answer there this isn't a bash, just a question, because your view may help me see something I haven't before.
Other then that one My favorite ones were the same as yours but I don't have an order placement and I'd bump Blue Hawaii from the top five, in favor of "Wild in the country" which I just thought was a good movie where Elvis got to show off some acting ability that some of the other films didn't (in his opinion as well).
I love the Elvis movies, because though some were not what he liked or could have been its a way to in 2006 , get to still see Elvis entertain.
