Elvis to me was a "hunk of burning love" from his years in the Army and all of the 60's but especially the '68 Comeback and TTWII.

My woman like his look on the Hawaii show, she say he is a real man there, and i guess she is right.
It also look like most of the other members that have posted in this topic have a vote for the TTWII look
hehe...i looked up what that meant on freetranslation.com and it said that, that meant "crazy stiff". is that right?!?! :blink:Quote:

Elvis is the sexiest man ever!!! He did look really good all the time. I like a little bit more that 1956 king, so explosive :P The army years were great too, that uniform fit so well on him  In the 68 Come Back Special Elvis did look awesome in that black leather suit. And also I guess that 1969-73 were cool years, specially 1973... on that Aloha show Elvis had such a great skin color! I love him.
He looked great throughout, though his pysical coindition obscured his classic features a bit for part of '76 and part of '77. If pressed, I'd say that it'd be hard to top the '68 TV Special, but he may have looked even better -- a little more rugged, at least -- for his '69 return to Vegas (and, indeed, through most of the next year, especially the first Vegas season, August, and the two tours).
In the '60s I always thought he looked particularly perfect in Harum Scarum, specifically in the publicity photos (and even in backstage candids) of him with the Valentino look. Pity those almost ethereal good looks were wasted on that particular property.
I like Elvis when he was a child. He was so cute!! I know a picture of him when he was a kid, he had this angelic face and blonde hair. I don't know exactly how old he was at the time, maybe the age of 10? Too bad I can't find this pic on the internet, I would have loved to share it with you.
I also like Elvis during his breakthrough, the period '54-'56. He truly was the rocking rebel and drove women wild.
I also like him in Blue Hawaii, in Easy Come, Easy Go and in Charro! He was a stud during the Comeback Special and turned celebrity into bloodsport in '69. I think the period '69-'70 definitely has it's appeal.
He looked like 'a prince from another planet' during the Madison Square Garden shows and had a beautifully tanned skin during the Aloha Special which I like to look at. I also like him during the Memphis shows in '74 and the July tours from '75.
Of course he had his physical problems later on, but he was still attractive, in my eyes. It's not just a matter of sexiness IMHO but also a matter of how likeable a person is - he was such a gentle, loving man and you can tell by looking at his face. No matter how bloated, tired or dependant on medicine he may have been, he was The King and a beautiful man to see none the less. I think the 'christ-like' appeal was probably the greatest in the period of '76 and '77.
I think he looked his best anywhere from '68 - '70......he looked really sexy in "That's the Way it is". Gosh......he was so dreamy!!! I'm glad we have his music to keep him alive. His memory will live forever!!!
I loved the look of Elvis always. Liked 50's and 68 and 69.
Tommy
I love his look in the late 50's, especially the movie "Loving You" - but his absolute best was the "68 Comeback Special" and "That's The Way It Is".
