Hello!
I would like to introduce ... Mookie! We just had our 1 year anniversary!
We met when I volunteered at an animal shelter. Mookie was underweight--about 7 pounds with very low self esteem. Within a few months he gained almost 7 more pounds! Nowadays he is happily sitting by my computer or at the window, chest puffed out and proud like the little lion that he is!

He's lovely!!
So cute!
Thanks for sharing
Tommy
I've been watching the 1968 TV special and suprisingly (or not?) Mookie enjoys it too! He will actually sit down and watch with me! He only does that when I play the "cat sitter" DVD that shows other little animals frolicking away.
Anyway, the funny part is that after a while of watching the 1968 special, Mookie lost interest. He came back to watch right when the show had a segment that had strob-lighting. Poor Mookie froze in front of the TV and almost passed out! His eyes had that spiraling look, like on a cartoon! I was afraid he would have a seizure. I guess when I watch the DVD again, I'll have to be careful about that part of the show!
he's so cute!
Hi,
This is a picture of Jacob, my very bright parrot... Couldn't post earlier, 'cause I just didn't have the pictures. More will follow soon...
Wow,it's an awesome parrot Sonny!(y)
This is my very first dog, Jewel. I think she was just a gift from my parents to shut up and quit asking, but I'm sure many of you as kids begged and begged for a dog. At least I hope. :P Anyway, I remember when I went to pick her out she had a sister who was identical to Jewel but more fiesty. My dad told me to pick the hyper one. I chose the calmer one. I made the right choice, thankfully, because all of the other puppies either died of the parvo virus or other things. Okay, the end. :)

By the way, that's *her* special chair she's laying on in the second pic. Oh how first pets are always spoiled.
Great parot, does he/she talk?
Love your dog Fire-eyes:D
I suppose it's a he...
And yes, he can talk, but right now he's not at my home but in my office, and since it's rather busy during the day he mostly listens to what's goin' on.
Imitating staplers, printers and everything. And he whistles a lot...
Sonny
Jacob and Jewel are lovely

Hi!
I was sure there was a thread about our pets in this forum...
I would like to introduce my bunny, Elvis! He was waiting for me in front of my house a few weeks back--skinny and muddy! My niece and I asked all our neighbors, and made signs for a lost pet...but no one came forward. So, I decided to adopt him and name him Elvis! If he had been a girl, the name would have been "Presley," since Elvis would be an odd name for a girl!
Anyway, do you notice any resemblance??
