I saw this video earlier and there are sections that are undoubtedly inspired by Jailhouse Rock, from 42 seconds and at various other points. I have been informed by my niece that the boy with the dark curly hair is an Elvis fan. Watch without sound :D.

good for a modern band to show the JR sequence.....but they do look like they are 'boys doing a Man's job'......Elvis looked cool, they look slightly 'girly' (if that's the right word.....hahah)

I think the people that “create” these boy bands and solo acts feel if they don't look like 12 they won't appeal to all of the 8 to 14 year old girls. Which of course is not true, because you are right Elvis had a man look but appealed to all age groups.

that's true, they market them to the most prolific money spenders.......young girls. Therefore they have to be slightly 'baby faced'

Well I just don't get it;) Even at 12 or 14 I wasn't attracted to the "baby boy" look. Of course Elvis was around then...maybe he's what saved me?:lol:
