Christmas was celebrated quitely at Graceland. Elvis gave Vernon a poem titled " My Dad". Vernon in turn gave Elvis a custom tailored white suit. Elvis gave Lisa Marie a golf cart that she and Elvis would ride around the grounds of Graceland.

Elvis leaves Memphis in the afternoon and starts his five day concert tour with a performance in Wichitia, KS at the University of Wichitia.

Elvis performs in Dallas Texas and gives a mind blowing performance at the Memorial Auditorium. 9,800 fans attended the 8:30 PM show. Elvis wore the white Indian Feather suit.

Elvis in great spirits gives another mind blowing performance in Birmingham, Al at the Civic Center Arena. Elvis wore the Inca Gold White Suit for his 8:30 pm performance. 18,056 fans attended the show.

Elvis ends his tour with a mind blowing New Years Eve show in Pittsburgh, Pennaylvania at the Civic Cener. When Evis arrived and took the stage at 11:25 pm the temperture outside was nine degrees. After the show, Elvis returned to Memphis and threw a New Years Eve Party at Graceland.
