I still find the iPhone and iPad app very poor. They could have done so much more with it. It's an unique opportunity for businesses to get this close to a customer through a smartphone app. But so very few are aware of this and use it properly. Most of the apps are still the old fashioned one-way communication. The only social part is a 'share this on Facebook/twitter' button.
