Artwork question
When i have cut out an image and want to save it as a transparent image, to be used later what format is best? do i need PNG, ICO, or what, does it make an difference if i save as or export [PHOTOSHOP] http://www.elvis-collectors.com/foru.../feccrocks.gif

No, not see through. Invisibility mode, this makes it transparent, I sorry I guess I don't understand completely what it is your are trying to do. :D

I would use the Invisibility mode, and then save it as a PSD, or if I was done, I would save it as a jpeg file, or save as a gif file for the web under transparency, and remove the background first before saving for the web. I hope this helps. :D

as a side note: to keep invisible parts on an image after saving, you can use gif and png. These formats are widely supported by browsers (unlike psd) and guarantee smaller file sizes.
