I've spent most of the morning contemplating this question, and it appears that he considers external and cloacal fertilization techniques to be the more "dignified".
After further deliberation, you could arrive at the conclusion that Nic simply considers that intercourse involving male reproductive organs which more closely resemble those of the human animal are the most specifically distasteful.
We could take this into a debate about psychosexual self-loathing, but I suspect that only I would be even remotely interested :closedeye
