Happy New Year :)

Hy folks, its been awhile since i am here, now the new year is approaching...

I wish you all a Merry almost New Year, i would bet some of you would have a New Year resolution....most women usually wanted to lose weight, am I right ? :D

I will not blame you with those sugar cookies and goodies around Christmas, we ( women ) are pretty much have a guilt trip over some indulgence..:D but we ain't going to stop ..:lol:

Now, the reason why I write, can anyone enlight me with some history...especially if you live in New York area...or a historian :D


Why people have to watch the ' Ball-fall' for the New Year's eve in Time Square ??? why not watching a triangle......or rectangle fall ?

I am new to this... well I ve been in States for almost 6 years now.. and love the country..

I'll appreciate any response and HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone ;)

Yes dear you are right about the holiday and we ladies usually put on some added punds because we spend so much time in the kitchen...a bite of this, sample that... and finally dinner time..LOL
In the long run who cares??
It would be depressing if we can't even enjoy a cake or pie.
As for NY..I don't understand all the fuss..just tradition I guess? I just know my area is cold and white...and I am not liking it anymore....:cold:
