Three years away from being born.!!!
I wans't born yet.
I wasn't born but boy I wish I was.
I can imagine how exciting that must have been for fans who had followed Elvis' career closely since 1954 and all through the movie years to finally have Elvis back! :notworthy
I was born in 1973, but the 68 Special is the reason that I become interested in Elvis. Norwegian TV aired the Special again in 1979 (I think..) and I was hooked right away. So for the last 30 years I have been a fan of "the TRUE King of MUSIC & ENTERTAINMENT - Elvis!!
I was watching with my mom.
I was born ten years after. It was in 1992 when I saw it first on TV. Now I have it on DVD, one of my favourites. The best TV show ever! (y) (y)
Not born yet.
it was the best show ever on T.V., I remember it like yesterday. my gosh, I was glued to the set. good thing no one tried to turn the channel!! LOL
(y):D
I had just got out of the hospital and I was happy as happy can possibly get,
I refused to lay in my bed(no TV in that day for every room) LOL
I parked on the couch and was thrilled by my greatest love, Elvis! He was more handsome than I had remembered.
Just 21 and dazed by his every move! :P I got well quickly!
I was minus 15... Yet when I first saw fragments of it in 'This is Elvis' I thought: wow... the spark was back again multiplied, matured and deepened. That was pure, raw ELVIS.
I was 3/4 away from being 1 year old when the 68 Special was aired on tv :D
I do recall my parents saying the remember watching it....I guess I was probably asleep, crying, or filling up my diaper :lmfao:
I was 14 and I watched it with my family... exciting moment.
My step dad did not even make fun of him (which he usually did when I mentioned his name)
