I really like this A LOT. I'm curious as to why the chorus is truncated and these two lines left out:

'Cause the north winds flow through my veins
Like my Dad there's a dream in my brain.

Having the song complete (including the third verse) would have made this totally astounding IMO.

In any case you've added an amazing new rhythm to this song. Very well done.

The song and video are beautifully rendered and aptly combined - especially if you like the view of afro-American women up close. What I enjoyed about an earlier version was the inclusion of material from all decades - but this is probably more "image-proof".
