My little sister in-law is getting married in a few months and asked me for ideas on some good Elvis songs for her and her husband to dance to, and to just be played in general.
I thought a great selection would be the Today, Tomorrow, and Forever duet.
If anyone would like to submit some other suggestions, I'd appreciate it. She would like to use some less well known songs.
Of course, "Can't Help Falling In Love" and "Love Me Tender" should be the first 2 Elvis standards played at the reception. For something faster, "High Heel Sneakers" and "Stranger in My Hometown."
Don't forget to annouce that "Elvis has left the building" when the happy couple leave the reception for their honeymoon!!;)
I had "Can`t Help Falling in Love" for our first wedding dance almost 18 years ago! Also the video the we had made of our wedding began with the song "Memories", while it showed photos of our childhood and courtship!

I think of : ' Cant Help Falling In Love ' for her wedding song, have you seen that movie with Salma Hayek : ' Fools Rush In' ??? they had this song for their wedding scene , and I thought it was very romantic ...I almost picked: ' Something Blue' , I checked it first and then I realize the lyrics was bad at the end :lol:
Of course Can't Help Falling In Love would be my first choice,then The Wonder of You and to around it out,I would go with Loving You.

How I left this one off of my list is beyond me, but "I'll Hold You in My Heart" is an absolute MUST (and a personal favorite of mine)!!!!! Is there anything as moving as his rendition of this country weeper???
Just thought I would add a couple.... "Mine"...For the slow,romantic dancing, and "Come what may" for something to shake the "booty" to!!!!:D:D:D
I have to go with the old classic Hawaiian Wedding Song. I still get goose bumps from it.

"Tender Feeling" from kissin' cousins is a beautiful love song that is a underrated and not a well know song that would be perfect for a wedding.
