January 1, 1976
Elvis arrives in Memphis following his New Years Eve Concert and has a party at Graceland.
January 2, 1977
Elvis spends the day at Graceland with Lisa preparing to fly out of Memphis the following day with Ginger.
January 3, 1977
Elvis, Ginger,and fifteen members of Elvis' staff flew to Harrison, Arkansas, to attend the funeral of Gingers grandfather. They flew back to Memphis the same day arriving at dusk.
January 4, 1957
Elvis takes his army pre-induction physical at Kennedy Veteran's Hospital in Memphis.
January 5, 1977
Elvis and Ginger fly to Palm Springs for a week's vacation.

Elvis appears in Los Angeles Superior court and wins a court order requiring a blood test of Patricia Parker in her paternity suit against him.

In the evening,Elvis and his entourage flew from Memphis to Los Angeles. Elvis encouraged his guys to bring their wives along for this trip. Also on this date,tickets for the Hawaii Satellite special went on sale in Honolulu.

Elvis celebrated his forty-second birthday at his Palm Springs home with Ginger and Lisa Marie.
January 9, 1973
Elvis and his group flew from Los Angeles on a charted jet to Honolulu. They arrived at the International Airport at 4:00 p.m. Elvis was taken by a helicopter to the Hilton Hawaiian Village Hotel.
