Ok, so this is my 1st try at adding a post/youtube! Hope it works,
anyway found on youtube the following: ELVIS PRESLEY SHOCKING AUDIO FROM 1974 . . . check it out. Never heard him so mad before. Make sure no kids are around!

I'm so excited . . . it actually worked! Now I don't feel so computer stupid!

Congratulations!...It does work!!....... I`ve heard this too many times to be shocked by it...well actually I wasn`t really all that shocked the first time either!!......man,you ought to hear me when I lose the plot! Thanks for sharing it anyway.....and again Congratulations!(y):D:D

I'm with Jack...I guess I have heard it so much it doesn't bother me anymore. However....I still get amused with the "thank you very much" after his tirade.:supriced::supriced::lol::lol:

I've heard much worse so it doesn't shock me either.

I think the audio has been posted here several times before.

I was sat 5ft in front of Elvis when he said this, I will "never" forget the look in his eyes!

It has been posted several times and each time I hear it, I find it embarassing to listen to. Elvis was totally in denial about his problems by this point. :'(:'(

I think Elvis was probably also upset that his drug usage had been found out by the press.

I like when he says "Strung out"..honestly he sounds like he,s back on his meds. Nothing shocks me anymore, after all this is the 21st century. I wonder if Lisa or Priscilla ever heard this tirade?:hmm:

FYI: There wasn't a time in the 70s that he was ever totally 'off' of his 'meds'.

Here ya go, this is more or less it:

"I don't pay any attention to rumors, I don't pay any attention to movie magazines, I don't read them - cause they're all junk, and uh... naw, I don't mean to put anybody's job down, I'm talking about, they have a job to do, they got to write something, so if they don't know anything, they make it up, ya know, so, in my case - they make it up... I hear rumors flying around, I got sick in the hospital... in this day and time you can't even get sick, you are "STRUNG OUT"! Well by-God I'll tell you something friend, I have never been "STRUNG OUT" in my life - except on music. When I got sick here in the hotel, I got sick here that one night, I had a 102 temperature, they wouldn't let me perform, from 3 different sources I heard I was "STRUNG OUT" on heroin. I swear to God, hotel employees, Jack; Bell boys, freaks who carry your luggage up to the room, people working around, ya know, talking, maids, and I was sick, ya know? I had a doctor, I had the flu, I got over it one day... but all across this town - "STRUNG OUT"! So I told them earlier - and don't you get offended ladies and gentleman, I'm talking to somebody else - if I find or hear the individual who that has said that about me, I'm gonna break your god**** neck, you son of a *****! That is dangerous, that is damaging to myself, to my little daughter, to my father, to my friends, my doctor, to everybody, my relationship with you, my relationship with people up here on stage, it is dangerous, I will pull your god**** tongue out by the roots! Thank you very much, anyway... "
