Silly questions that you hate being asked

Maybe I'm just too touchy but, are there questions that you hate being asked? Are you daily bombarded with silly questions wich deserve the silliest answers? If you suffer from this too, please share your burden here.

Some of my most hated questions...
At work, a usual one:
- Is this the price? (...:blink: No, that's my telephone number... no no wait! I think it's the winning combination of last night's Lotto...)

- Do you think it's gonna rain? ( :blink:... what do you think I am? a barometer? and why do you want to know? do you have an orchard you have to take care of? are you planning going to the beach?...)

A recurrent question my colleague is very given to formulate to me:
- Wouldn't you happen to have (insert unusual artifact here, yesterday it was a magnifying glass but she always comes with the strangest ones) by chance? (what?:blink: why would I?... now that you are at it look into my handbag, I think I have a roast chicken and pair of bongos just in case you needed them...)

Oh well... that's life I suppose... :doh:

Since l have a 3 year old that asks millons of questions about everything, adult questions can be a relief for me to answer, but everyone's different when it comes to annoying questions.

Yes, but there wouldn't be silly answers if there weren't silly questions.

I used to work in Asda'Walmart and we had to wear bright green uniforms with Asda wrote on the back sleeves well just about everywhere visable and would you believe it people would come upto you whilst working on the shop floor and ask " do you work here " !!!!!!!:supriced: I felt like saying no I just love walking round in this bright green uniform looking like a right plonker :lol:

From the customers side here are some that annoy me.
" How's your day going?" Excuse me buddy, but you've only been open for 2 hours and I've only been up for 3. Would you like me to come back right on closing and give you all the details? Duh!! :wacko:

"What are your plans for the day" Sometimes I feel like coming back with "Why? What've you got in mind?" Only to the ladies though. :D

And the clincher is when I go to my Doctor and she say's "And how are you today?"

I know it's only customer relations Donut. But you guys do come out with the strangest things. What happened to a simple "Hello" and "Call again" ? :D

:lmfao:(y) Now I feel better knowing I'm not alone. It's not an exclusive work happening though, I'll be posting more from family and friends when I remember them.

When you are doing something and someone will walk up and see exactly what you are doing and say to you "Hey, what are you doing" its like can you not see what I'm doing...lame way to start off a convo....

This is not really a silly question but a silly statement that I often hear from parents in school. They will call me at school and say,"My child is not in school today so you do not have to put him on the bus."....I mean really????

Yeah, if you grow plants in your garden be careful mentioning this. They may have a gender as well.

I think it's annoying when you answer the phone and the caller says "oh, I didn't think you would be home.":doh::doh::doh::doh:

Stupid questions asked me at Graceland:

1. Is Jessie his Dog?

2. Gladys, wasn't that his wife?

3. Elvis was a twin? Born on the same day and everything? (Asked by a member of the Beach Boys as they came through Meditation Garden.)

1. "Are you growing a beard?" (When I haven't shaved for a few days).

2. "Is it raining outside?" (What, as opposed to raining inside?)

3. This is an Australian trait, but some Aussies tend to state the obvious when coming across certain situations. For instance, if an Australian finds you enjoying yourself in the water, they're likely to ask "Having a swim, eh?" Or if you're covered in blood and screaming in agony, you'll likely hear "Did you hurt yourself, eh?"
