I found this on craig's list. Maybe these things need a special "rip off alert" category? (n)

Electro-Voice Microphone, serial #7328. This microphone was owned and used by Elvis Presley. It was last used by Elvis at the Las Vegas Hilton in 1976. We have papers proving its authenticity. By the way, it still works.

I think Leroy had one of Elvis' microphones or was looking for one not too long ago.
You'd have to catch him and ask him.I don't think he had anywhere near this price in mind though.;)

Unbelieveable $85,000 for a Microphone? Someone with lots of money and no brains will buy it. If you have that kind if dough donate to Presley Place or other charities. If he Studz (spell check) came on the market for that price i would buy it, after i won the lottery.:lmfao::king:

BWAHAHAHAHA! That's a joke cuz Elvis did not use that particular microphone (EV RE-15) at all after The March 1974 shows in Houston, TX. He used a Electro Voice CS-15 E from after the Houston, TX 1974 shows up until the final show on June 26, 1977.

Yep, that's the thread and he also posted a complete list of the microphones that Elvis used during his live concerts from 1969-1977

And it looks like there here to stay unless they do some seriously house cleaning there. Not like someone is going to pay that amount of money for that anyway, unless they are out of their mind that is.
