Elvis plays a singer in a small band and is also into racing and chasing girls, or being chased by them! Four of them in this movie.
Shelley Fabares plays the spoiled daughter of a millionaire. She's used to always getting everything she wants. This time she wants Elvis.
Diane McBain is a best-selling author. While doing research for her upcoming book: "The Perfect American Male", she meets and follows Elvis, since she feels he's the ideal subject for her book.
Deborah Walley plays the drummer in Elvis' band. She's crazy about drumming and Elvis.
Dodie Marshall is the fourth girl who wants to force Elvis into marrying her...
There are lots of funny moments, car racing on mountain roads and a couple of nice songs along the way.
All ends well of course, with everybody getting married...
