Story:
This time Elvis plays the part of a singing rodeo rider, who arrives into an expensive beauty ranch/health spa for wealthy glamour girls.
The owner is Julie Adams. She hires Elvis as a handyman.
Elvis falls for Jocelyn Lane. Lane has a letter by her late grandfather, which directs her to an amount of gold in the ghost town of Silverado.
The sheriff, Bill Williams and his men come to know about this letter and plan to steal it away from Lane.
Elvis helps her out of course and together with Mullaney they fight the gang in the ghost town, resulting in some funny scenes.
Jocelyn Lane and Elvis find the gold and decide to get married.

Filming started on October 6, 1964 until November 24.
The soundtrack consists of older recordings. No songs were recorded for "Tickle Me".
"Tickle Me" does not get a ranking in Variety's top-grossing list.

Film made on a shoestring budget in '65(and it shows). Nevertheless this film is a lot of fun if you just sit back and go with the flow. One of the screenwriters used to write for the 3 Stooges. So, there's a lot of those types of gags. Good script(for this type of movie). Good supporting cast.
Excellent soundtrack made up of previously released tunes. I love the whole
"Silverado" ghost town sequence when Lonnie and friends are caught by the rainstorm. Hillarious!!

It will be out on dvd next january in Holland, cant wait haven't seen this one yet, just like Charro.

I absolutely love this movie! It was the first Elvis movie I ever watched and I was about 6 when I watched it. Its alot of fun and there is never a dull moment. (y)

In the songs list there are 8 songs but actually there are 9 songs , the one missing in the list is the wonderful IT FELLS SO RIGHT:D

Tickle Me is one of my favorite Elvis movies.
Good songs in the movie too.
And i have always liked the opening song "Long Lonely Highway"

I really like that one.
It's not the stereotype Elvis-Vehicle but more in the "Martin & Lewis" Style. So you have that kind of comedy elements which are bringing that movie onto a higher level.
Another point is that they used some old songs which were not written especially for the movie. The quality improvement is enormous.
