nothing on the telly so got some more done now finished his face and part of the neck, also got his cigar done as well

gordon its lookin great you have captured him well it is starting to stand out a bit more now love the detail in the eyes can't wait to see the finished drawing

todays update finished his face and neck also got his shirt done ( man those big collars were something). Just got the dreaded hair to do now going to have to build myself up for this bit

Tommy that is the one thing that can ruin a drawing

ok got his hair done, but I am a bit disappointed with it so may add more later but for now I will call this finished

The portrait is extremely beautiful and very well done as it stands Gordon. You can change the hair if you like but I see nothing wrong with it at all...fantastic!

Diane thank you, I was not happy with the hair and it has played on my mind all day so I have had half a day off and went back and added another layer and I am happier now as it looks better, the last one looked scruffy this is a bit tidier

The portrait does come together better now with the added layer on Elvis' hair Gordon but I did like the highlights in the other one too.
