White Rib Jumpsuit 1970

Is this the same jumpsuit??????????? He looks great here and this is a superb picture!!! I can see that the belt is different, but the suit looks the same. :hmm::hmm::hmm:

If I'm not mistaken, this belt in this picture, is the belt that he wore in Jan. 1970 with the Pearl Jumpsuit, but I'm not a Jumpsuit expert as some of you others. :P:P:P

Nope, that's the 'metal eye' suit debuted in Vegas that August. The diagnostic feature of the 'rib' suit is the lacing that runs through the parallel eyelets along the lateral outsides of the suit and the arms. The suit in this picture has no lacing running through those eyelets.

Love the suit. He wore it on my birthday!

The gold lace was on the RIGHT side facing the glass/spectators...but the left (toward the back of the exibit) side HAD NO gold lace....I thought it was funny that if he didn't lace them up, there'd be 2 half's of the suit. I thought the lace was just be for looks...but they were both form AND function.

Brad, the "Lace Suit" that you photographed is a second version that has never been worn. It's not even finished. As you can see the suit is too large compared to the suits that are next to this one... Note the length of the legs and the sleeves....
