thanks Franny for sharing....from listening to him....he is still in denial about his role in Elvis' downfall so to speak.....he keeps saying "you can't tell Elvis Presley to do anything" but the Colonel sure did alot of it.....and kept him from doing what he ultimately wanted (Elvis)......just my opinion.
You're welcome, Kelly! (y)
I have always read that Elvis didn't stand his ground with the Colonel, so it could be he's in denial...

Thanks franny, have very mixed feelings for that men.
Thank you Franny, I had seen this interview with the Colonel before but I'm glad you posted it. The man was a known con-artist so whatever he says I take with a grain of salt.:P

Thanks for posting Franny, I have never seen this interview before.. he was a con man until the end. I guess he would say that he is still promoting Elvis from the beyond today. :lmfao::lmfao::lmfao: Dovey ;)
You're welcome, everyone!
I agree, Dovey! I still can't believe he made 50% of Elvis' profits! (n)

Wow! Great clip! Thanks Franny :D
Nice to hear that Parker still had that Dutch accent
Love Parkers reply to Jerry Wald the producer when Wald offered a dramatic role to Elvis and he told Parker he could almost guarantee Elvis would get an Oscar.
he said "We don't go to the Oscars"
