I don't like spiders, but this is harmless. Surely Elvis did look good with this jumpsuit. :P
this is not my favorite suit but i dont disslike it either. io dont think he wore it much if at all after 1971(y)
This jumpsuit, originally called the "Cobweb Suit" was only worn during the 1971 Lake Tahoe season.
Thanks for this info Leroy... (You always help me :flowers: ).

If this is one of the pictures you mean then you're right.....
And here is ELvis on that one!!!
Photographs from Lake Tahoe are rare and several one night jumpsuits were possibly worn there.
This design is rather simple with a star of gold studs on the back , legs & sleeves and named the " White Sunburst ".
It's safe to assume though that this jumpsuit has been used frequently to this Lake Tahoe stand and at the previous Las Vegas season in February.
August 1st, 1971 midnight show :
Elvis performed that night the following songs:
That's All Right, Proud Mary, Jailhouse Rock, All Shook Up, Love Me Tender, You Don't Have To Say You Love Me, You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin', Polk Salad Annie, Johnny B. Goode, Love Me, Blue Suede Shoes/Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On/Blue Suede Shoes, Heartbreak Hotel, Teddy Bear/Don't Be Cruel, One Night, Hound Dog, Suspicious Minds, Introductions of the band, I'm Leavin', The Impossible Dream, Lawdy Miss Clawdy, I Can't Stop Loving You, Bridge Over Troubled Water, I John, Can't Help Falling In Love.
I wonder if there was more pictures of this jumpsuit when elvis was wearing it
I like this jumpsuit and wish there were more pictures of it that are clear. I tend towards the white suits and plainer designs.

This photo, the one of Elvis pretending to acsend the stairs in Lake Tahoe was taken by Madelyn Winston. We always referred to this photo as "romeo" as he is singing to the balcony. Madelyn took most of the two-piece Aug 72 Vegas photos that have surfaced over the years. She traded some photos to Judy Palmer and some to my Mom, Viriginia Coons. Other than that I do not think she traded with anyone else. Judy sold her collection to Sean Shaver and he printed the few photos that Judy had got from Madelyn. I don't think Madelyn ever traded with fan clubs, and I have never seen her on the internet. Mom and Judy could only afford/trade for a few of Madelyn's photos. I had lost contact with her in the 70s. Through a friend, I did get an e-mail address for her but she never responded. She took LOTS and LOTS more photos particularly from the first Tahoe engagement, and from Aug 72 Vegas. I saw her slides (all her and Judy Palmer's pix were taken on slide film) and she had more pictures of the "romeo" show, but she has never made them available. So sad! She took many many more photos of incredicule quality. So very sad! :'(
I stubled across these pics this morning and they give better detail to the studding on the suit......enjoy.

WOW those photo's are EXCELLENT and rare thank you so much for posting. Those are the first photo's of the suit i've seen with Elvis actually wearing the suit....again thank you(y)
I love those recently posted pictures of the suit...rare in terms of the jumpsuit and the venue!
I just very recently read somewhere (it's all a blur...I can't for the life of me remember where) an Internet post by a woman who says that the photos higher up the page were not from the August 1, 1971 midnight show (that she attended) and that he actually wore a powder blue vest-and-pants (with white shirt) outfit. I'd assume that the getup she's talking about is the powder blue Cisco one, but it's possible the vest was the simpler one that featured very basic double starbursts on each side of the front, or something else.
I wonder if this suit was ever used in Vegas?
very good suit
does somebody have close-up pictures of this suit?
