What do you do on the 16th of august??

I will light a candle and ask God to say "hello" to him for me. Then I'll cry as I remember him...

I took August 16 and the 17 off work and the day will be pretty much Elvis all day all the way till early morning, listen to his music, drink a beer and sit in silence and just think of him.
Its a very sad day for me, its like a close member to the family and i cant think of sharing the day with others.
Because its not a day for party :'(
Its the sadest day in the musichistory :'(

I pulled a few strings as a journalist, and snaffled a ticket to BMG's 30th anniversary bash at Darling Harbour (a touristy area just west of Sydney Harbour).

Not even sure what's going to happen, but it should be good. I think it's sometime in the afternoon of the 16th ...

I will listen to his music,and maybe will watch the TCM channel,and watch Elvis movies.And afcourse,i will think about him:king:

listen to some music..watch a movie or two..and wish he was still with us.

I listen elvis songs, its a elvis marathon 7 days 24 ours. On tv many docu in holland, we are very happy that elvis still alive in us mind. We love him. My friend

I have no special plans. Its a sad day to remember. Probably listen to a few albums and watch one of his live videos in the evening.

I always stop what I'm doing and have a private moment of silence. Then no matter what the cost, I stay clear of the bathroom :blush:

I plan to listen to his music. My favorite cd's - Elvis the Sun Collection, Rhythm & country & Viva Las Vegas. My girlfriends & I will watch a marathon of Elvis movies, my favorites are Clambake & Kid Galahad. I don't know if I have to work yet - just depends on the expected crowd at the restaurant, but if I do, I had my mom make me an Elvis vest that I can wear that night!
