Yayyyy Jen, where did you find that?(y) There is a little similarity in Vernon's voice and Elvis but I'd have to hear more. You're right, that's quite a teaser.:D
Diane
It's great to be teased! :flex:

Thanks sooo much for sharing

Got it from elvis news.
Not a bad voice but thats where it ends for me, i cant hear anything of elvis there at all.
thanks for the link presley
elvislady
not a bad singing voice as it goes but he reminds me of Jim Reeves more than just a bit.........but still good tho!!!, rickster.
I bought the CD which has come today.
Not listened to it yet though.
I've listened to the CD and I think it is very good.
As Rickster says Vernon does sound a bit like Jim Reeves.
A very good CD though. :D
thx jen for that it sounds very country style to me cant say i can hear much elvis in it but then no one can sound like him lol thx again,
kev
Well, I think he sounded country western but then I like that kind of music now a days.
thanks
The audio tour at Graceland used to include a moment of Vernon and Gladys singing around the piano with Elvis--or maybe it was just the two of them, and the similarities to Elvis' singing voice were much more apparent there. If this is definitely Vernon, I assume it was recorded much later.
well thanks for posting i just got the cd and may i say how good it was you cant really hear any elvis in him but he does a good job on a tune of his own and hey rick there is a bit of jim reeves in his voice
Can I ask what cd you all are talking about? Does it have contain a full version of this song?? And even the one which Lonniebealestreet spoke about, which had Vernon, Gladys and Elvis ?
Jth, what I referred to I have only heard on that audio tour but I would be surprised if it did not exist on some import or another. Sorry I can't help you out with that though.
Is it really, really Vernon singing..?
I once dreamt about a track by Vernon being released, but I couldn't figure out how that could be true - although I did read he had a nice singing voice.
