It's not correct to my ears to say that the sound quality is only average... :'(
I know it depends on your own pairs, but I find it a very good one. There aren't a lot of 'on tour' shows that you can find on good audio sources. The main part of very good audience recordings were recorded during different Vegas/ Tahoe Seasons.
'America's Own Vol.2' is one of the few exceptions and it is one hell of a show, highlighted by Elvis playing the piano and singing a wonderful rendition of "You'll never walk alone". This is one show that you shouldn't miss.
Thanks for the reply and the info!
I've added a small change to the sound quality, as you can see.
Nice to see you reacted on my reply, Sonny ! :)
The recording sounds quite good for an audience taped performance. Elvis couldn't have been better, he really rocked the house!
Still one of my fav audience recordings...Really rockin' show...hope for a soundboard one day
Both these shows from the 19th were superb...and you'll never walk alone is a show stopper itself..
Re: America's Own vol.2
How can I find this I just want the songs not the cover.
