Activation

Hi All! New to tcb-world, I think this is a great site. That is the main reason I am anticipating my approval/activation on this forum. Just a quick question to those who might be able to answer... I registered for my account sometime yesterday and I was just wondering if I was supposed to get a confirmation e-mail for the activation of my account or if an admin/moderator is supposed to approve and activate it. When ever I try to view my profile I get the following message

"KentuckyRain, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation."

Can't wait to experience the whole forum!
