I thought some of you would want to watch this documentary (in case you haven't already). I personally don't believe some of the things they say, but it's always nice to see old acquaintances of Elvis.

Thanks for posting that. Ive never seen it before. I've always liked Barbara Hearn. She has a bed and breakfast in Tennessee. Ive thought about going there for a weekend. Her place was profiled on the local tv here.

That's great, you should go and fire her with questions. It is not everyday that you will have the chance to meet someone who met both Elvis and Gladys and lived the start of his career.

Her and her husband seemed very personable on the tv interview. Her Elvis connection brings her a fair amount of Elvis fans as guests. From what I saw she talks about Elvis freely to the guests and doesnt mind talking about her relationship back then. It would be a nice weekend trip.I would just have to be carefull not to ask about the "hillbilly pecker" that was mentioned in the video you posted.

I had to look that up on the dictionary. I first thought it was a hillbilly version of Woody Woodpecker :laughing:

Thanks for the video Donut, I never saw that one either and like you not sure I believe everything that was said but it was enjoyable.
