Why she isn't listed in the session credits? (I only got Mary 'Jeannie' Greene; Mary Holladay; Donna Thatcher; Susan Pilkington as vocal overdubbs session Jan 22-24, American Studios Memphis Tennesse)

Not saying with this that she's making things up. But what's the story on that.

Or is it that Donna Jean Godchaux was then known as Donna Thatcher? that would make sense... (If she is, she is basically in all Memphis '69 Recordings as well as in overdub session for the On Stage album).

By the way, such a sad ending to the story she's telling us huh?

BIG P.S. Didn't knew that Ronnie Tutt also played in the Jerry Garcia Band!!! so cool!

Ok, already confirmed it on the net, YES, she was known as Donna Thatcher at the time she recorded with Elvis. Married Keith Godchaux in 1970 and joined the Grateful Dead.

Here she is with our man during those legendary Memphis Sessions by the way:

I believe she's the first one in his left shoulder.

I'd say that's definately her. That was a really fun interview, and yes a very sad ending.

Check this up, here's the Jerry García Band, early '76 Tour, with Donna Jean Godchaux on lead vocals, and YES Ronnie Tutt on Drums. Obviously Jerry Garcia on lead guitar.
