I have a question to all American trademark
and question to all what could companies do with Elvis?
Everything or should we say: STOP - not with Elvis?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Elvis, Elvis Presley, Graceland and King Of Rock 'n' Roll are registered trademarks of Elvis Presley Enterprises.
The namen an the image.
Or not???
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Why can American companies steal the work of artists and illustrate Elvis on mug, t-shirt, bag, playing cards and much more ?

It happened to me. 20 of my Elvis painting, are sold in the USA for 18 different products.
Without asking me and without give me money for my work.

Of course, as fan I paint with love, but is it work and this work needs money too. For studio, materials, promotion

And so it isnt funny, if stranger companies taking my work.
This feels badder than lovesickness.

What do you think about this?????????

I hate it

This is a outrage, I don't know how this can happen without permission. This is horrible. I always worry about this! Companies have stolen my wallpaper designs and I know of hcvegas' colored photos being published in Elvis books without his permission.

Isn't there anything you can do? It is disgusting! I understand how much work goes into your paintings as well as others who paint Elvis.

I am so sorry, truly.

Thank you Tommy.
This is the negative reslult of the world wide web.
A Russian side with my pictures and advertisement for Pornography were correctly disgusting.

But I fight for my right
and the help is: YOU.
Everybody in this forum is so nice.
This is really something special.

Oh, I'm sorry this happened to you Carolin. As an artist, you have rights, I'm sure. And the companies would need your permission.

I`m not sure how any of this works..but surely you can take out some kind of copyright on your own paintings? It`s not right that you put all the time, effort and money into them only to have them ripped-off by these people.
I hope you can find a way to sort it all out.... it`s a horrible thing to happen.

I know, Im the owner of copyright.
But to have right and to get right is different.
Money is the curt

There are a lot of artist with the same problem. If paintings or music, books ... everything the same.
A band from my hometown is the CD also selling online in the USA.
And with Ewas paintings the same.

my question is, what do you think: is it okay, when Elvis is printing of a box for dogs (for example)
Is terrible, but a death artist is the best for bussines

Sorry, is it so friendly here. I dont wanne break this. aaaaaaaaah sorry for my english

Yes, Carolin!
This is very sad. The bigest artist ( ELVIS, M. Jackson, and many others) have this problem.

Hey Unchained,
what do you think - Why internet users grant million companies more money, and artist no one cent???

In German: Jaron Lanier: „Wenn alles Immaterielle gratis ist, werden wir alle zu digitalen Bauern, die fr die Lords der digitalen Wolken … kostenlose Inhalte
bereitstellen.“
If all immaterial one is free, we all become to digital farmers, who make free contents available for the lords of the digital clouds…

Im a farmer now and everybody too :'(

My english isnt good enough.

An artist isnt so like Elvis in "Jailhouse Rock". Money, Money ...
Do you mean something like this?

Lisa said, it gave Elvis even on toilets paper. That was terrible.
Thats what I mean. Companies does everything for money. Without respect for art an artists.
