ELVIS COULD HAVE ANY WOMAN HE WANTED. BUT THERE WERE CERTAIN SPECIAL QUALITIES ELVIS LOOKED FOR IN THE WOMEN HE DATED.

I THINK HONESTY, LOYALTY AND A GOOD SENSE OF HUMOR WERE IMPORTANT TO ELVIS.

I AGREE. HIS MOTHER WAS SUCH A BIG INFLUENCE ON HIS LIFE. BUT I DON'T THINK HE EVER FOUND A WOMAN THAT COULD EQUAL THE QUALITIES SHE POSSESSED. BUT HE DID HAVE A FEW WHICH WERE KIND AND LOVING LIKE DIXIE LOCKE AND LINDA THOMPSON.

I don't recognize the lady in the middle of Priscilla and Linda. Who was she?

That is Barbara Leigh, one of the women he had an affair with from 1970 until 1972.

She wrote a book entitled "The King, McQueen, and the Love Machine". Apparently she embodied the late 60's and 70's (by her own admission) where she was involved with more than one man.

I define that as feminine.

Female. No really, feminine, loyalty he expected from everyone, attractive to be sure, and while, IMO, some were pretty, there were not drop dead gorgeous. So there was something in particular that Elvis expected and wanted in a woman.
