I found a bunch of Pris' business cards from her store Bis and Beau. I picked these up in July of 1973 when I was in her shop.

It was very small...very boutique like. I bought 2 outfits that day, they would be in style again right now. The pants were baby blue cords...now we call them flare-leg, back in 1973 we called them bellbottoms.;) Her clother were not cheap, but they weren't outlandishly expensive either. She wasn't there that day but her partner Olivia Bis was there.:D

A bunch.....probably 12 or so. I found them in a drawer at Mother's house where she kept all the family photo's and newspaper clippings of important days. There was Elvis' death along with JFK and Oswald's assasination newspaper headlines. Alot of interesting history to read....:blush:

It must be hard to get fixing up that house with all that reading there to do! It must be taking you back in time.....

Yes, my brother and I spent hours looking at just the one drawer, with many more to go. There is a fabulous pic of JFK taken 15 minutes before he was shot. My brother's school let them go outside to watch the motorcade as it went by, and he was able to get a good, close-up pic of the entire car. JFK is smiling and waving....very eery to look at now knowing what was about to happen.:blush::blink::blush:

Wow that is amazing! What a shock for all those people there that day! Imagine the teachers in your brothers' school having to explain what happened!

Yes, he was a freshman in High School. Alot of them had camera's because they knew his motorcade would come by the school. They didn't know that he would make a last minute decision to ride with the top off however.:blush:
