Once in a while some very rare footage shows up on the internet. ElvisMatters member Kris Van Gisbergen spotted this news item, about Elvis's arrival in Huntsville on May 30th 1975. Both the landing of the Lisa Marie and the transport to the Hilton hotel were filmed (well, bits and pieces of it). Elvis didn't do an interview, but he had no objections to being filmed.

Thanks Jen, Elvis looked good, too. Loved his warm smile, the happiness. This was good to watch. I liked the Reporter being interviewed, he really loved to share his experiences, it was a nice interview.

"Room 1330", I notice that there were a lot of 13's in Elvis life, interesting :hmm: :D

I also thought he looked fairly trim in his "civilian clothes"

Both the landing of the Lisa Marie

At that time Elvis still flew in rented planes. He didn't even own the "Lisa Marie" yet.....

According to this article Elvis did not fly on the Lisa Marie until November 27th of 75 and he took the group from Graceland on a flight on Dec 25 1975.
The article also details all the planes he bought.
