My favorite is Burning Love and Hits From His Movies.

Don't see how in the world that song Burning Love a number 2 on the billboard charts, ended up on a dang budget album.

"Almost in love".....Because I remember buying it after breaking my piggy-bank....."A little less conversation","Rubberneckin`" and "Clean up your own backyard" were new to me at the time....and I loved `em...still do!! :)

Burning Love... is my least favourite - a terrible, career-damaging decision to put a great modern rock song on an album with sub-par movie songs.
The earlier albums had more consistency

I like them all. Almost In Love would be my favorite. Hits From His Movies Vol 1 my least favorite. I also enjoy Separate Ways a lot.

Almost In Love because of Clean Up Your Own Backyard. That song introduced me to the bluesy side of Elvis and have loved songs like that that he sings ever since.

Couldn't agree more with you.

We can thank the Colonel for that, still found ways to get those old songs on new Albums. Which is ashame, because Burning Love was Elvis' truly last great Rock N Roll tune!

Too bad that they did'nt use other songs that were recorded at that time on the album.
Burning Love could have been a better album than it was.At least It's A Matter Of Time was on there with it.All The Colonel was worried about is MONEY not The King having more hits on the charts.

And It's A Matter of Time is one of the best 70's songs aswell.

As the Burning Love (90's) and the Hits Of the 70's prove, there would have been enough contemporary material to release than release these budget-albums.

Burning Love and HFHM is surely the worst ever.

I think Almost in Love is best.
