These numbers AREN?T REAL ATTENDANCE but number of solded tickets!!! It?s large different!

For example:
at all sites I found on web was attendance at Omaha show (in June 77) 10.604! But it?s WRONG!!! :x These is tickets which was bought by organizer, not to audience!!! Real attendance at this show was 9.977! 627 tickets was returned or not sold!!!

And MSG is same! Real capacity is OVER 20.000, it?s true, but tickets which are determined for public are "only" 20.000 (for all concert in this building, but it depends on size of stage)!!! But I think that these concerts were really sold out - 20.000 people for each show + few "ilegal" people in audience - policemans etc. :D It means really over 20.000 people in audience.

Small correction concerning the set lists from Houston, Texas 1970. The shows hadn?t all the same set lists:

February 27th afternoon show: Only performance of One Night ~ at the 5 other shows it was replaced with Kentucky Rain.

February 28th afternoon show: Long Tall Sally instead of Blue Suede Shoes

March 1st evening show: Blue Suede Shoes (opener) instead of All Shook Up & Long Tall Sally on the same spot where Blue Suede Shoes was normaly performed. (after I Got A Woman)

It's amazing when you think about those shows. Some of the people would have been straining to see what was on stage, let alone see Elvis's face!

These days we have the large video screens, showing what it happening on stage. But in 1970, all they had were cheap looking lights flashing Elvis's name!

I would have still loved to have gone to one of those shows, just to say I had been to an Elvis concert. Even if I couldn't have really seen him!

I think it looks pretty weird to see the (small !!!) stage in the middle of a completely empty field. So why didn't they decide to let people on the field? It seems more logical to let the people on the field, higher the stage and close some of the higher rings?

That image is strange. So where in relation to Elvis is the stage, I wonder, and how far? He's still got the mic!

Funny to see Elvis in all his jumpsuited glory standing in a muddy field! :D

I LOVE listening to EVENT #8 from the Houston Astrodome show on 3/3/74! It is so cool to hear Elvis perform an entire show with just the TCB Band and back-up singers....it is a very unique sound when compared to the usual orchestral arrangements that Elvis used!

It basically sounds like a very long rehearsal, which is quite cool in my opinion!! Now don't get me wrong, I LOVE the way Elvis incorporated the orchestra into his concerts....but EVENT #8 is a nice change of pace from time to time!

IT IS INDEED NIGHTRIDER!! (y)

While the song lineup is pretty standard for a '74 show, the fact that it is done without the orchestration is what sets this show apart from all others! As I said, it is just so neat to hear some of these songs without the orchestra backing Elvis up!
