MUST OF BEEN ONE BEAST OF A SHOW!

"Beast of a show" is a good way to describe it...."pacing across the stage like a panther", "Vegas unleased a tiger", "opening numbered was delivered with sledgehammer effect"....I bet this doesn't even scratch the surface of what it really was like.....

Just the idea he was "LIVE" in person would have been enough-but for him to give the performance which is described in the reviews of that show must have been the dream of a lifetime for anyone who loved Elvis. I recall seeing Rona Barretts "Hollywood Minute" or something like that on our local news the day after his opening-and just to see still photos on the screen was a thrill.
She gave him the same type rave review that everyone else had.
I hope one day we will be surprised to find they have a "Lost Recording" of that night which they just stumbled across.
