It's interesting when it comes to remixes because i think of the stories of when Elvis first heard suspicous minds on the radio and got so upset and hurt that they had messed with the sound from the origianl take that he ad approved so its hard to like these when you think about the pain he went through having people mess with his work. but then in when was it 2002 A Little Less Conversation was number 1 in the world i ithink Elvis would have been happy with that though...so its tough to like them then on the other hand like jerry schilling said Elvis loved number 1 records(y)

I bought this cd 2 weeks ago,in fact I started a thread on it as well but didn't get many replies on the cd.I will say that I really enjoy what dj Spankox did with these Elvis songs. It would be a great "party" cd to have.I enjoyed 'Jailhouse Rock' and 'Too Much.' All I can say is listen to all the songs with an open-mind.I played my cd 4 times after buying it.

I listened to the CD several times and considered some the re-mixes done in good taste, although there are those that sounds that good. Totally, the whole effort is worth it. This is one proof that Elvis songs has no season and timeless.

I really love these remixes....sure the original takes are the best but it can be a different way to introduce Elvis music to new generations....the advice then is to explore the original versions (y)

I have mixed feelings about the remixes, but I like the music chart entries for Elvis's music.
A little analogy if you like would be the great many different orchestral versions of Beethoven's symphonies.
My favourite 7th symphonie is by a Leiptzeig orchestra on vinyl.
I wore it out. Bought a Cleveland orchestras version. Didn't like it. Bought a Berlin Karajan version didn't like it. Bought a Boston version and didn't like it.
I finally got the leiptzeig version again and wore it out!!!
Purists say Beethoven Piano Sonatas should not be played on modern grands! But the sound is astonishing!!!
Elvis's "Rubberneckin" remix got all the Elves dancing in the movie "Fred Claus"!
Music is just sooooooo subjective. :D

I hate remixes. (n) But I guess the most people like īem. I just donīt understand why they change something about the songs just because of some stupid *****s who donīt like Elvis at all. That doesnīt change their minds either. I think all songs, no matter whoīs songs, should stay original, the way the were recorded. I just donīt understand whatīs going on in their heads. :cursing:

I love the remix of a Little Less Conversation but so far it's the only one I really like. I find the rest I've listened to overdone and drowns out Elvis. I also found the video to this completely out of context to the song. Elvis was from a time of innocence.
