There's a great double-cd out called "The American Sound Show". It was recorded on 31st March 2007 in Soest, Germany. The german fanclub Elvis-Presley-Gesellschaft had hired the singer James "The King" Brown who had enjoyed some success in Europe with his album "Gravelands" were he sang recent songs (like "Come As You Are" from Nirvana) in Elvis-Style.

The music was provided by the same band that Elvis used during his sessions at the American Sound Studios in Memphis when he cut "From Elvis In Memphis". The guys are really rockin' and James Brown is singing very well.

The cds sound very good and I can only recomment this release to you. Thanks to the Elvis-Presley-Gesellschaft for putting together such a nice tribute show!
