I saw this and was blown away and saddened at the same time reflecting on that day. I was just a kid but I remember the impact it had on my family and me. Watch these archival videos shot by Memphis' WMCTV in August 1977. Some of the footage as as clear as if it were shot today. In one of the videos they say that crowds got so out of hand that the national guard had to be called out to control them. The main ones are the first 10 videos. They cover everything from the breaking news of his death to the actual live coverage of his funeral. There's stuff that we haven't seen before unless you lived in Memphis and was watching their news cast. Also i didn't know they did live correspondents back then, just as they do today. There's also some recent videos from EP Week this week including Priscilla and Elvis Expo after the funeral scenes. Enjoy!:D
