slicked back hair given way to a more tousled look.

and cutting loose, there is a relaxed atmosphere, giving a
glimpse of a professional at work. TTWII chronicles the
formation of the a show format that would barely change
throughout the 1970's but here it is new and exciting and you
can sense the electricity & rawness of what would become the
standard.
The Jumpsuits of this period are simplistic in design and do not
detract from Elvis the performer. The song list see's a more
mature selection and borrowed contemporary songs from relevant
artists of the time. Classics like the recent hit Suspicious
Minds get the full treatment where Elvis just gives it his
all. The Wonder Of You a new power ballad. The 50's
songs are still treated with respect. The International Hotel is
the newest hotel on the strip and there is a buzz throughout as
celebrity guests arrive to see the first show.
Seeing Elvis being nervous before a performance feels vaguely
ridiculous when you see how he controls the audience with
complete ease, those fears banished.
