i always thought it ironic that E,P. looked like his mother durring the last year
of his life, i've always liked collecting photos of both GLADYS and VERNON, years ago JIMMY VELVET sold his photos of GLADYS that he had taken from 56-57, there were 1200 in all, many that E.P. himself had never seen himself . Agreat way to get ELVIS attention was if you sent him photos or paintings of his dear mother , years ago suri , and bigalow had paintings of GLADYS sent to graceland for elvis , i know that suri recieved a book that ELVIS was reading at the time, and marked pages of it, and also wrote in the inside how much he loved the painting, she still has this, sadly she is not active in the elvis world, since his death she has remained alusive.
