I'm looking forward to get the book. But, I was a little disappointed about the Delux Edition that I wanted and wasn't expected that it cost $400.00!
There was never a good Elvis photo book for awhile and sometimes it would say new rare pictures inside, but find only a few. Some photos are repeated over the years. So, this one from Werthiemer is something special but why so much when you can't afford it? I guess that I'll have to get the standard edition. Geez! I'm gonna CRY! :'(

I know what you mean, I don't know why it has to cost so much either. There is an exhibition at the Govinda Gallery in Washington, D. C. which celebrates the book "Elvis at 21: New York to Memphis," runs from November 10 thourough December 30 for anyone who can see that.

If it's half as good as Alfred's "Elvis 56'" we should be in for some very interesting posts, and hopefully photographs :-) Hope to see it on bookshelves soon!

Wendy56, There is also an inexpensive version of the book at 65 Dollars US.

I guess because it's by Alfred Wertheimer it carries it's own recommendation.

My pleasure Cynthia, here's another link to an Elvis photo exhibition http://www.southeasttexaslive.com/stories/museum.htm

Elvis is Art. A masterpiece self-made. We gaze in disbelief. His image does not fade. I saw him yesterday, on a shop display, In his suit of gold, Was ever a guy so bold?

Thank for the advice Maurice... Though 65 dollars, well that's quite expensive anyway (because of the "monetary change"... Hope this expression is corect  ). And those links are awesome, thanks once more for that. :notworthy
