I have Elvis Fashion and love it but as Leroy says it certainly isn't complete. I would like to own the Sean Shaver photo books but haven't found one for a reasonable price yet. I have Elvis '56 by Alfred Wertheimer and it's one of my favorites. I have quite a collection of several photo books that I enjoy but don't recall the titles at the moment.

i hope you find the sue weingart book , have you tried writing to her , i think she still has the blue hawaians fan club, i have 2 that she put out in the early seventies[she calls them books] but to me thaey are fanzines, las vegas thrills, and dreaming of ELVIS , they have lots of pics from vegas feb 1970, even have the only known photo of bob lanning, . I have every SHAVER book, all 18 even the large photo ones vol 1, 2, still waiting on him to publish the next volumes along with i shot ELVIS , i have 14 of LICHTERS books the best being THNK YOU VERY MUCH, and from philli , brotherly love theirs a pic at the back of him and ELVIS it looks like a fake, many of his other books have the news photos in bad quality, this is the one complaint i have of his books ,,like the EP ON TOUR photo book it has way to many photos we've seen before [keith alverson, george hill, bob heiss etc] and the dates and wardrobe are incorrect most of the time, i have only oner book of TUNZI'S that is comming undone and its THE LOST PHOTOGRAPHS book, anyone have the same problem? well i guess i better let you all breathe now.

Thanks Memphis77. I banned myself from eBay the first of the year and have not been back. I was getting out of control.:D I have seen the Shaver books there and bid on them but they got too way out of sight for me. I would like them for the wonderful jumpsuit photos. I feel he has the best collection of them. The Litcher books don't appeal to me as much. Tunzi I would be interested in but more so, any book that has Wertheimer's pictures that I haven't seen yet.
I also have a large collection of memorabilia, CD's, vinyls, etc., etc. I'm leaving them to my daughter and she can split them with our son. I know there are things she won't be able to part with so who knows where they will go from there as she is not married and has no children.

I am fond of the Tunzi books and I just got Elvis in Hawaii by Jerry Hopkins. It's really great. Some photos I have never seen before.

My Favorite is ELVIS ON STAGE by Keith. All color photos and just a little text on first picture from each show. Simple but beautiful book. And now you can't get it anymore so its worth a lot to me now. I paid $125.00 few years back for it and worth every penny.
Love to all,

i agree boss man THE LIFE OF ELVIS [BY SHAVER] remains one of my all time favorites , i come back to it often and look through all the photos, over and over again[even though most of the photos in it are from other fans like LEN LEECH, KEITH ALVERSON, JUDY PALMER, and some of the dates are wrong] but a definate must for any elvis fan , my second would be THANK YOU VERY MUCH[LICHTER], I would love if TUNZI would publish his books hardbound and all in colour, i would pay the extra, what about you guys? and dianne i can understand about e bay and the prices that these books command, i do hope you score a copy of SHAVERS the life.... it's a real gem.
